BizX America
BizX is a three-day annual conference bringing together entrepreneurs, investors, and industry leaders to learn growth strategies, network, and access practical tools for scaling their businesses — this project covers the event's website for its Nashville edition.
Year :
2023
Industry :
Events / Business Conferences
Client :
Qordev
Project Duration :
3 Weeks

Problem :
Multi-day business conferences need to convert visitor urgency into ticket sales fast — attendees are comparing multiple events and need immediate proof of credibility (who's speaking, how many attend, past success) alongside a clear sense of urgency (dates, countdown, limited passes) to commit to buying a ticket.

Solution :
I designed a hero section combining an authentic event photo with bold, high-impact typography ("BIZX 2023 RETURN TO NASHVILLE"), paired with a live countdown timer and prominent "Buy Tickets Now" CTA to drive urgency. Immediately below, credibility stats (10,000+ Attendees, 50+ Speakers, 1,200+ Investors, 190+ Startups) establish social proof before the user has to scroll further. A dedicated Speakers section showcases industry leaders with photos and titles, while a "What People Say" testimonial section uses a circular avatar cluster around the BizX logo to visually reinforce community and connection.

Challenge :
The challenge was structuring a content-heavy conference site (speakers, agenda, testimonials, stats, countdown, ticket tiers) into a scannable flow that builds a persuasive case for attending without overwhelming visitors — sequencing urgency (countdown), credibility (stats, speakers), and social proof (testimonials) in an order that moves a visitor naturally toward purchasing a ticket.
Summary :
The BizX website transforms a complex, multi-faceted event into a clear, persuasive journey — from urgency-driven hero to credibility stats to speaker lineup to social proof. The design gives ambitious entrepreneurs every reason they need to commit to attending, without burying the ticket purchase path in secondary content.
